About the platform:

"Franconica" presents unique manuscripts, rare prints and graphics from the special collections of the Würzburg University Library. "Franconica" is both directed at researchers and gives all interested individuals the opportunity to digitally experience the treasures of the Würzburg University Library and thus learn more about the origin and cultural-historical significance of the objects for the Mainfranken region.

"Franconica" is currently under construction. The platform is maintained technically and thematically by the Würzburg University Library. Gradually, all objects located on the platforms „Franconica Online“ and „Virtuelle Bibliothek Würzburg“, will be migrated to „Franconica“.

All content presented at the platform is hosted by the University Library. Data protection regulations are summarized on a seperate website.
